The Foundation
Set up in 2013, in the name of the legendary folk-guitarist and singer-songwriter, the Bert Jansch Foundation embraces the rich heritage of acoustic folk music and celebrates its creativity.
Its charitable aims are to support young acoustic musicians with educational and early career opportunities.
To achieve these aims the Foundation runs workshops, awards grants, transcribes Bert’s music and facilitates training.
The foundation is supported by Bert’s friends and colleagues who serve as Patrons.
