Edinburgh Napier University: Making a Professional music ‘calling card’
Anita Okienko, a 4th year singing student from Poland was amongst the most diligent and active students at Edinburgh Napier University in 2017. She won her award to help her record a ‘professional calling card’, a video and recordings of her singing. She’s looking to work as a session singer and performer after her degree. Her calling card will include some traditional music, maybe even a Bert Jansch piece, but her main focus is on jazz, rock and pop. You can see her website and listen to her ‘showreel’ on her website
